These options are designed for increased privacy & security while creating a short link.
What advanced options are available when creating a link?
There are three advanced options available while creating a short URL. They are the following:
⚡ Safe mode

Enabling safe mode will show a link preview to end users, allowing them to see the actual link before redirection.
Most modern URL shortening services have a way to preview the long URL before actually clicking on the link. Fynlink makes it easier by making a link to show preview by default without entering any additional characters to the short URL.
⚡ How can I enable safe mode?
- While creating a new short URL, click on the
Advanced optionstab. This will open all available advanced options.
- Click on the toggle button next to the
Safe modeoption as shown below. The toggle button will turn blue, indicating an active state.
⚡ Private link
Making a link as private means, the short URL and its target is kept as a secret! No one, but only the person who created the short URL and the person with whom it is shared with, knows about it. This means no one at Fynlink will also be able to know the content if someone chooses to! This can be a better option for many for sharing sensitive links.

⚡ How can I make a link private?
- While creating a new short URL, click on the

⚡ Disable / Pause analytics
It is not a gimmick, we stop analytics collection immediately for the link!
Disabling analytics is not a gimmick where the analytics is simply not shown, but is functional by stopping analytics collection immediately. In some cases, it may take up to a minute for the changes to propagate through all our edge redirect services though!
There can be a situation where you want to use short URL, but doesn't need analytics for various reasons. In such cases, you can turn off analytics completely for a link and can resume whenever needed!
⚡ How can I disable or pause analytics?
- While creating a new short URL, click on the
Advanced optionstab. This will open all available advanced options. - Click on the toggle button next to the
Disable Link Analyticsoption as shown below. The toggle button will turn blue, indicating an active state.
- You can enable analytics back by disabling the same button while editing the short URL
