Default domain

It is possible to add custom domains or subdomains to our platform to create branded links. Choosing a default domain for your team will make creating links a bit easy, as you don't need to change the domain every time when you create a new link.


Make sure the team you wish to change settings is the current active one!

Always make sure you are changing the settings of the right team by checking the left navigation menu, active team button. If you would like to change settings for a different team, make sure to switch to that team first.

How can I change the default domain of a team?

If you are an administrator or owner of the team, you can change the default domain from the settings page found in the left navigation menu.

⚡ From the settings page

  • Always make sure the desired team is selected by default by checking the team selector in the left navigation menu. Active team
  • Click on the Settings link from the left side navigation menu. Team settings navigation link
  • You will be redirected to the corresponding team settings page. From the Default Domain section, select the domain of your choice and click on Save button. Change default domain
  • The next time when you create new short link, the default domain will be selected by default. Default domain in create link panel

Can any members change the default domain of a team?

Only an administrator or owner can change the default domain of a team!

If you are an owner or administrator of a team, you are allowed to change the default domain!


Yes, it is possible to change domain on the fly while creating links. All domains associated with the team will be available in the dropdown select box while creating a new link.
